Today, Dec. 13, is Reading Day, an official day off between when classes ended (Monday) and when finals begin (tomorrow). According to a Setonian article, we have a reading day this year because classes didn’t end on a Friday. I don’t really understand why they decided to have the last day of classes on a Monday, but I’ll take my days off whenever I can.
Do you use reading day to study? If so, the library is on finals schedule, which means they are open 24/7 until Dec. 20. If not, what do you use reading day for? To catch up on sleep or household chores? Or just to take a break and relax? Do you think reading day is useful, or would you prefer to have ended classes Friday to start Christmas break a day sooner? Comment to let me know!
Good luck on your finals!
