Caitlin (or Caitigirl, as was coined by her loving father,) is a senior studying journalism (with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes frustrating, minor in psychology,) at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
She is currently the Digital Editor of the college’s weekly newspaper, The Setonian, a newly created position. Previously, Caitlin served as one of the paper’s copy editors.
Caitlin is currently a part-time producer for the continuous news desk at the Star-Ledger in Newark after interning at the paper over the summer of 2011.
In the summer of 2010, Caitlin was an interactive media intern at MSG Varsity (Long Island) and was also previously a media relations intern at PROLine Communications.
When she’s not reporting, poring obsessively over newspapers or exploring the world of new media, she enjoys reading, writing (creatively) watching her Jets (win, hopefully,) spending too much money on clothes and singing along with Glee.
Caitlin is, like most college students, exceedingly broke and full of dreams to get un-broke (and get a job involving her passion, news.) When at school, she survives mostly on caffeine and quarters.
On campus, she is also a member of Allies and a brother of the national service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega.
When Caitlin’s not at school she lives on Long Island, (with her parents, for now.)
